The Boss GEB-7 Bass Equalizer is a seven-band equalizer that was especially developed for the frequency range of the bass guitar. Its frequency range extends down to 50 Hz, which makes it perfect for adjusting the depth and low end of a double bass with an electric amplifier.

The GEB-7's frequency range - 50 Hz to 10 kHz - has been specifically set for electric bass guitars and amplified double basses, and the Bass Equalizer is suitable for use with five and six-string bass guitars too. Thanks to its adjustable volume, you can even use the pedal as a boost or a cut.

Deze werkt goed zonder ruis of andere bijgeluiden. En maakt een solide indruk.
Met klittenband in mijn pedaalkoffertje bevestigd; gaat prima.
Overbodig te zeggen dat de levering door Bax weer snel en probleemloos was.
Ik heb jarenlang getwijfeld of een bas equalizer in de vorm van een effectpedaal wel iets toe zou voegen. De Trace Elliot basversterkers uit de jaren '90 waren voorzien van een uitgebreide equalizer, dus toen was het sowieso niet nodig. Maar mijn huidige basversterker is wat beperkter op dat gebied, dus ik heb de knoop toch maar doorgehakt en daarbij gekozen voor dit exemplaar. Er zijn weliswaar voordeligere equalizers op de markt, maar ik ken de kwaliteit van Boss. Het voegt voor mij nu inderdaad wel iets toe, omdat de verschillende frequenties hiermee veel subtieler af te stellen zijn. Een fijn apparaat.
Simpele maar doeltreffende EQ, gebouwd als een tank, prima prijs en Boss kwaliteit. Ik gebruik deze op mijn bedalboard. niet alleen op bas, maar ook op gitaar, synths en vocalen. Waar voor het geld!
